SMALL GROUP LESSONS + PRIVATE TRAINING

Lessons at Repertoire are currently taught by Founder Anthea Maclean, Certified Pilates Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Educator, and Owner. Anthea has completed rigorous studies across both modern classical and contemporary Pilates methods. Her extensive training has shaped her ability to individually assess clients, creating tailored program designs and selecting exercises that support each client’s level, goals, and needs. Offering small group lessons and curated private training, her teaching is designed to educate, build balance, and cultivate a strong mind–body connection through progressive movement.

All future teachers at Repertoire will undergo an in-depth apprenticeship and mentorship under Anthea’s guidance, alongside completing comprehensive Pilates certification. This ensures that every instructor is equipped to deliver the same thoughtful, client-focused approach at the heart of the studio.


01. SPINE CORRECTOR LESSON

Level: Suitable for all levels.

Who: Pregnancy friendly.  No prior experience required. First timers to this piece of equipment are required to arrive ten minutes prior to their booked lesson for an induction on the equipment.

A signature Pilates Matwork lesson crafted through spinal mobilisation. The spine corrector is an essential small equipment apparatus tool used to build or restore optimal alignment of the spine’s natural four convex curves.

You’ll be guided through Pilates exercises designed to build and challenge length and strength in the torso, shoulder girdle and seat whilst supporting your natural postural needs or goals. Spine corrector lessons offer an energising and rejuvenating pilates movement experience designed to compliment your Matwork and Reformer Pilates structured order of repertoire. Bringing both dynamic exercise challenges and postural support and modification, the slanted platform is cushioned with a dense foam padding accommodating comfort for all and mimics similar postural integrity found on the high barrel.


02. FOUNDATION REFORMER

Level: Beginner

Who: Suitable for all levels. Not Pregnancy friendly.  No prior experience required. First timers to this piece of equipment are required to arrive ten minutes prior to their booked lesson for an induction on the equipment and complete 10+ sessions at Foundation level prior to request to move to Progression Reformer. 

Build confidence on the quintessential bed-like apparatus, known as ‘the reformer’. Coined in the name, this lesson is designed for those looking to introduce, integrate or work deeper into the foundations of the Reformer Pilates traditional repertoire. You’ll be guided through a structured order exercises designed to improve overall awareness, balance, flexibility, coordination and postural control.

Foundation Reformer lessons offer a holistic engagement of mind and body to activate correct muscle groups appropriately and execute Pilates exercises. Utilising key core principles to guide intention and direction in the practice, Foundation Reformer brings an enriching, focused and educational movement practice, tailor made to build participants understanding, awareness and control of their body in space, both in and out of the studio.


03. PROGRESSION REFORMER

Level: Intermediate / Advanced

Who: Suitable for experienced and consistent Pilates students. Not Pregnancy friendly.  Prior experience is required to book this lesson. If you are unsure whether you are ready for Progression Reformer, please get in touch with us via the contact form or speak to your guiding instructor in studio. 

Progression Reformer optimises the full expression of the apparatus offering a dynamic and skills based lesson suitable for experienced participants looking to challenge their current practice. You’ll be guided through traditional Pilates repertoire with a structured program designed in detail to refine precision, progression, stamina and strength. Some modifications may be provided to participants with contraindications where appropriate, however the lesson follows the classical rhythm and set up of exercise with minimal rest or transition time.


04. MATWORK LESSON

Level: Beginner

Who: Suitable for all levels. Pregnancy friendly.  No prior experience required. First timers to this classical folding mats are required to arrive ten minutes prior to their booked lesson for an induction on the equipment. 

Connect to your powerhouse with the original pilates informed Matwork lesson. Learn to effectively use your own body, gravity and additional small props as resistance to work your entire body. Fusing functional preparations to inform traditional pilates exercise skills, you will build and refine your postural technique, stamina and integrity of movement with low-impact movements aim at optimising overall well being. This lesson is the perfect compliment to your everyday life outside of the studio, designed to be completed daily, to energise, reconnect and rebuild the mind and body stronger every practice.
